Where Talent Meets Opportunity

Is the Cultural Alliance of Long Beach looking for you?   Or, are you, as an artist, possibly looking for them?

Maybe the answer is, a little of both.

CALB’s planning a closing reception, this Saturday, March 23, at 6:00 pm, for artist Jose Loza–and he’d like to photograph people who are willing to be a part of his new portrait series.

Meanwhile, as a new nonprofit, CALB is expanding its services to artists, with upcoming free or low-cost workshops, openings and special events!  AND they could use your help: as a volunteer artist, coordinator, fundraiser or, possibly, someone who’d like to learn to curate art shows.

During a tour of their three galleries, Space Manager, grant expert and secretary Karen Reside talked about both the upcoming programs CALB will be offering, and their needs as they grow and support the Long Beach creative community.
