Warm-looking hardwood glows in clocks, cutting boards and candleholders. Colorful place mats and napkins invite guests to sit down at the table. Unique shoulder bags and pouches express their user’s individuality while carrying anything that’s needed.
That’s the artistry of Dr. Allyson Yarbrough.
Alyson is a master woodworker, textile artist, award-winning engineer, and the proprietor of small business Allyson Yarbrough Designworks!
She’s also a proud member of Torrance Craftsmen’s Guild. And she’ll be one of the 92 artists exhibiting her work in Torrance Craftsmen’s Guild’s 57th Annual Arts & Crafts Fall Faire, happening Saturday and Sunday, November 7th and 8th at Ken Miller Recreation Center.
Admission is free, and TCG’s Fall Faire is always a festive event, with three rooms (and a patio) of talented creators, music, door prizes and food.
But if you can’t wait to see what Allyson’s been handcrafting, or you’d like a custom order (she just started taking those, for her woodworking and textile work!), you’re also welcome to reach out to her on her website before you come say “hi” to her in November and see her latest creations. (And don’t forget to follow her on Instagram!)
