Heads up–San Pedro Art Association will be in the Inland Empire this Saturday, December 20th, for the North Pomona Christmas Market!

And SPAA will be represented by two gifted artists.

Artist/jeweler Carlos Boisselle paints some breathtaking seascapes.  And I admit to oohing and aahing over some of his work in silver, at past crafts events.   Carlos makes special-order rings and sizes jewelry on the spot, and this will be his first time exhibiting his work in this area of Los Angeles County.

Meanwhile, SPAA Secretary Bill Boisselle is a mixed-media artist.   He’s going to bring along some of his acrylic pours and candleholders.   Looking at his Facebook page, I’m admiring a candleholder on a plaque with gorgeous, kaleidoscope-like waves of color–a unique gift that would be fun to give several people on my list this year!

Meanwhile, the North Pomona Christmas Market sounds like a lot of fun, and a great shopping experience for the last Saturday before Christmas.   They’ll have live music all night, starting at 3 pm, as well as food vendors, photo opportunities with Santa, toy giveaways and, of course, great shopping, courtesy of local small businesses.

Come say hi to Bill and Carlos, if you’re in the area, and wish them a Merry Christmas!

The North Pomona Christmas Market happens this Saturday, December 20th, from 2 pm to 10 pm, at 2695 North Garey Avenue, north of West Magnolia Street.  Admission is free.
