Ahoy there!  Merry Christmas!

It’s almost time for the Newport Beach Holiday Lights Cruises.

The first nightly “Holiday Lights Cruises” of the 2024 Christmas season leave this Friday evening, December 6th.   Passengers get to admire displays with millions of lights and lots of creativity,  as bay-front estates and landscapes participate in the  “Ring Of Lights” competition.   Cruises run approximately 75 minutes, and departure times can vary, between 4:30 and 9:00 pm.

And if you don’t want to “miss the boat” (sorry) for the upcoming 116th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, happening Wednesday, December 18th through Sunday, December 22nd, now is the time to reserve your tickets.  (The Christmas Boat Parade tends to sell out, and, their website warns, “reservations are a must”.)

And a quick note–if you have your heart set on cruising in the Christmas Boat Parade (which is absolutely beautiful) be sure you book a time from 5 pm to 8:30 pm, December 18th through December 22nd.  “Holiday Lights” cruises are also sailing on those dates.   The website warns that cruise times leaving before 5 pm or after 9:30 pm, on those dates,  are “Holiday Lights Cruises” as opposed to being part of the Christmas Boat Parade.

Book early, have fun, and say “hi” to my favorite lighted teddy bear for me!  I’m pretty sure he’ll be part of the 2024 decor.

Newport Beach 2024 Christmas Light Cruises begin Friday evening, December 6th, with multiple departure times available, starting at 4:30 pm.   Christmas Light Cruises continue nightly, through January 1, 2025.  Meanwhile, the 116th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade of Lights cruises depart nightly, 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm only, December 18th through 22nd.  Here’s a link to the parade route schedule.
