Uh-oh.\u00a0 A deadline’s coming up.<\/p>\n

Normally, I don’t talk about deadlines on Labor Day weekend, especially!\u00a0 But you might like to know about this one, which is this Tuesday, September 2nd.<\/p>\n

That’s the deadline to reserve your tickets for Handmade in the South Bay’<\/a>s First Annual Salute Our Troops All-American Barbecue.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, September 13th,\u00a0 Handmade in the South Bay<\/a> hosts this special event at Ma Griffe Galerie<\/a>, in San Pedro.\u00a0 All proceeds go to San Pedro’s Packages for Patriots<\/a>, as they send “care packages” to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.<\/p>\n

And this promises to be a party!\u00a0 They’re having a silent auction, raffle, collection of needed items<\/a> for our service members, and, of course, great food.\u00a0 Best of all, attendees get to help some fantastic artist entrepreneurs say “thank you” for our freedom–including the ability to create, design, open our businesses and follow our dreams.<\/p>\n

But–<\/em>if you’d like to go, they need to know by next Tuesday. \u00a0 Seating is limited, and no tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the barbecue.<\/p>\n
