Easter is a time of renewal and celebrating new life.<\/p>\n

For the Long Beach Rescue Mission<\/a>, though, both of these keep happening on a daily basis, year-round.<\/p>\n

The LBRM<\/a> has ministered to thousands of people since its founding in 1972.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Besides offering their homeless clients shelter, spiritual guidance and meals, they provide them with job training and educational programs–and<\/em> serve the surrounding community.<\/p>\n

Chaplain Jeffery Levine is Resident Services Manager at\u00a0 Long Beach Rescue Mission’s Samaritan House.\u00a0 Chaplain Jeff talked about the personal experiences that led to his calling at the Mission, some of the services they offer their clients, and how you can help in areas best fitted to your own skills and talents.<\/p>\n
