Would you like to spend New Year’s Eve with a Yeti?<\/p>\n

Not to mention snow flurries, confetti cannons and tribute bands?<\/p>\n

It’s all happening in Costa Mesa, courtesy of Winter Fest OC.<\/p>\n

As Southern California’s largest winter festival, Winter Fest OC<\/a> has been celebrating the season since late November.<\/p>\n

(Photo courtesy of Winter Fest OC, and used with permission.)Located at the Orange County Fairgrounds, they welcome visitors to enjoy ice skating, a snowboard simulator, their new “North Pole Pop-Up” walk-through experience, LED mini golf, ice bumper cars and much more.<\/p>\n

And their Christmas season 2022 culminates in their New Year’s Eve celebration<\/a>, this Saturday, December 31st.<\/p>\n

Included in the admission price, this special event starts at 5:00 pm on he 31st, with a Holiday Parade and lighting spectacular.<\/p>\n

Then, just in case you can’t stay till midnight, there will be a 6:00 pm New Year’s Eve countdown, complete with fireworks and music by 80’s tribute band Flashback Heart Attack.<\/p>\n

The entertainment continues throughout the evening, with a DJ and dancing, and the tribute band. DSB Journey.<\/p>\n

Then, of course, at midnight, the countdown happens, as everyone welcomes in the New Year, with music and fireworks.<\/p>\n

And expect to see Yowie the Yeti and his friends amid the festivities!<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for fun activities and it seems like Christmas has sped by like a greased reindeer (wouldn’t that<\/em> be a mess!), Winter Fest OC is open at noon every day this week.\u00a0 Plus, after all the celebrations, they’re open for a final blast, New Year’s Day, from noon to 10 pm.<\/p>\n
